Tithi is a free companion for Jain daily practice. Its panchang and times are calculated estimates; your guru and your sangh's panchang are the final word.

What Tithi is

Tithi calculates the tithi, nakshatra, pachchakhan times, prahars and choghadiya for your location on your phone, applies the Tapa Gachchh rule for parva tithis, shows the published pachchakhan sutras with audio, and keeps a personal tap log.

Calculations

Times come from astronomical calculations of sunrise, sunset and the positions of the Sun and Moon. They are accurate to about a minute but can differ from printed panchangs that use another city's sunrise or another convention. On days that matter for your practice, please confirm with your sangh.

Pachchakhan texts

The sutras are shown from published Shwetambar Murtipujak texts. Tithi selects only the verb form and the options that apply to the pachchakhan you choose. The audio is produced by your phone's speech voice and may not pronounce every Prakrit word perfectly. Where possible, take pachchakhan from a guru.
