Privacy Policy

Tithi collects nothing. There is no account, no server, no tracking and no analytics. Your tap log and settings stay on your phone.

What we collect

Nothing. Tithi has no servers and no account system. Your language, city, calculation settings, reminders and tap log (the pachchakhans, upvas, ayambil and samayik you record) are stored in the app on your device. They are never transmitted to us or to anyone else.

Location

If you choose "Use my current location", Tithi asks for your location once to work out local sunrise, sunset and pachchakhan times. The coordinates and city name are saved on the phone and never leave it. You can choose a city from the list instead and never grant location access at all.

Notifications

Reminders for Navkarsi, Chovihar, parva tithis, festivals and samayik are scheduled on your phone by iOS. No notification passes through a server.

Audio

Pachchakhan audio is spoken by your phone's built-in Hindi voice, on the device. Nothing is recorded and no audio is sent anywhere.

Widgets and Live Activities

Widgets and the samayik Live Activity read your city and settings from the app's own storage on the phone.

Tracking & analytics

Tithi does not track you. It contains no third-party analytics, advertising or attribution SDKs, and collects no usage data or device identifiers. It makes no network requests of its own.

Deletion

Deleting the app deletes everything it stored. Because nothing is ever uploaded, there is no copy for anyone — including us — to retrieve or delete.

Children's privacy

Tithi is rated 4+ and collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated date above will change. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
