How much does Signet cost?

Your first 10 signed waivers are free, with every feature switched on - nothing is watermarked or held back. After that, a single one-time purchase of $5.99 unlocks unlimited waivers on that device, forever. No subscription, no per-waiver fees, no account.

Does it work offline?

Completely. Signing, check-in, search, PDF export and backup all work with no internet connection - which is the point, because a front desk shouldn't stop working when the Wi-Fi does.

Where is my data stored?

Only on the device running Signet. There is no cloud and no account. Export a single encrypted backup file whenever you like, and restore it onto a replacement device.

How do I set up my own waiver?

Paste it during setup, or later from the owner side under Template. Signet never writes legal text - you bring the release your attorney wrote, exactly as they wrote it. Editing it creates a new version, and every record already signed keeps the exact wording it was signed against.

How do I get to the owner side?

Tap the small Owner button in the bottom corner of the welcome screen and enter your PIN. Records, Verify, Template, Exports and Settings all live behind it - guests never see them.

How do I stop guests leaving the app?

Turn on Guided Access (Settings → Accessibility → Guided Access), then triple-click the side button while Signet is open. Signet's PIN guards the app; Guided Access guards the device.

What happens if my iPad breaks?

Back up regularly from Exports & Backup - one encrypted file holding every record. On a replacement device, install Signet and restore that file with the same owner PIN. The whole chain is verified before anything is imported.

What does "records that prove they haven't been altered" mean?

Every signature, check-in and void is sealed into a hash chain, so any later edit or deletion is detectable. The Verify screen re-checks the whole ledger in about a second, and every exported PDF carries its own seal and position in the chain.

Is Signet legal advice?

No. Signet keeps records; it is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Whether your waiver is suitable and enforceable is between you and your attorney.
