Privacy Policy

Signet is a record-keeper that runs entirely on your own device. The waivers your guests sign stay on the iPad or iPhone at your front desk - we never see them.

Data we collect

None. Signet does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data to us or any third party. There is no Signet account, no sign-up, no cloud, and no analytics or tracking. The app works with no internet connection at all.

Where your data lives

• Signed waivers - the waiver text as presented, the signer's details, their signature, any children they signed for, and every check-in since - are stored only on the device running Signet.
• There is no server, no sync, and no backup to us. If you export a backup file or a PDF, it goes wherever you choose to put it (Files, AirDrop, email) and never passes through us.
• Backup files are encrypted with a key derived from your owner PIN, so a copy of the file is useless without it.

Information about the people who sign

Signet is a tool your business uses to keep its own records. The details a guest enters - name, date of birth, contact details, emergency contact, and the names and ages of any children they sign for - are collected by your business, for your business, and are stored on your device.

• The developer of Signet receives none of it, ever.
• You decide what the form asks for: every field beyond the signer's name is one you chose to add.
• Minors' details are excluded from spreadsheet exports unless you explicitly switch them on.
• On the check-in screen, contact details are masked so one guest cannot read another's.

As the business collecting this information, you are its controller, and your own privacy obligations to your guests apply to it.

The waiver text

The waiver your guests read is text you supply. Signet never writes, drafts, or suggests legal language, and it does not transmit your waiver anywhere.

Purchases

The one-time unlock is processed by Apple through the App Store. Signet never sees your payment details. Apple's handling of purchase data is governed by Apple's privacy policy.

Third parties

Signet contains no third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.
