Privacy Policy

The short version
SwarnaPro has no account, no server, and no analytics. We do not collect, receive, or store any of your information. Everything you enter — including your customers' details and what they owe you — stays on your device.
What we collect
Nothing.
SwarnaPro makes no network requests for any of its features. There is no sign-up, no login, no telemetry, no crash reporting, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs. We have no servers that could receive your data, so there is nothing for us to see, sell, or lose.
What you store on your device
The app is a business tool, so you will enter real business information. All of it is written to a private database on your iPhone using Apple's Core Data framework, inside the app's sandbox:
- Your shop profile — name, address, phone, email, GST number
- Daily gold rates you record
- Transactions — weights, purities, rates, charges, totals
- Customer records — names and phone numbers you enter
- Udhaar balances — what each customer owes, payments received, and due dates
- Making charge presets and app preferences
- PDF quotations you generate
We want to be explicit about the customer information, because SwarnaPro's ledger is built around it: when you record a customer's name, phone number, and outstanding balance, that is your record of your customer, held on your device. It is never transmitted to us or to anyone else.
If you enter another person's details into SwarnaPro, you are responsible for handling that information lawfully under the privacy rules that apply to your business.
iCloud sync (optional, off by default)
SwarnaPro includes an optional iCloud sync setting. It is switched off unless you turn it on.
If you enable it, your app database is synced through Apple's CloudKit into your own private iCloud account, so it can appear on your other devices signed in to the same Apple ID. In that case:
- The data is held in your personal iCloud account, not ours
- Apple's encryption and security terms apply
- We have no access to it and no ability to read it
- Turning the setting off stops further syncing
Sharing and export
You can export your transactions, rates and customers to CSV, create a full JSON backup, and share PDF quotations over WhatsApp, email or any other app.
These actions are always started by you. Files are written locally and handed to iOS's standard share sheet — you choose where they go. We never receive a copy, and we cannot see what you share or who you share it with.
Deleting your data
Because everything is local, you are in complete control:
- View — everything is visible inside the app
- Export — take a full backup out at any time
- Delete — "Reset All Data" in Settings clears the database
- Uninstall — removing the app deletes all of its data with it
If iCloud sync was enabled, you may also need to remove the app's data from your iCloud account through iOS Settings.
Children
SwarnaPro is a tool for jewellery businesses and is not directed at children. It collects no personal information from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new date.
