Does Quietly upload my journal?
Never, by default. Everything lives on your device. Sync is opt-in and off by default; when you turn it on, your written entries sync end-to-end encrypted - photos, videos, and voice notes always stay local-only.
Does transcription send my voice recording anywhere?
No. Voice notes are transcribed entirely on-device using Apple's Speech framework - recordings and transcripts never leave your phone.
