While you're parked Apex uses only low-power significant-change and visit monitoring. Precise GPS runs only during a drive.
Is there a subscription?
No. Tracking, trip cards, the Live Activity and the last 30 days of history are free. Apex Pro is one $9.99 purchase for your full history, Drive Wrapped, collections, widgets, every car and GPX export. Family Sharing is included.
Does it show who drove fastest?
No, on purpose. Apex shows top speed as a fact and never rewards it. Smoothness and great roads are the point.
Do I need an account?
No. Apex has no account and no server. Your drives are stored only on your iPhone.
