What does "Ready to assign" mean?

It's money you have that doesn't have a job yet. Give it to categories until Ready to assign reaches zero: then every euro (or dollar, pound, real) has a place.

A category is red

You spent more than you assigned. Tap Cover and move money from a category that has some to spare. If you don't, the overspending comes out of next month's Ready to assign.

How do credit cards work?

Each card gets a "Payment" category. When you spend on the card from a category that has money, that money moves to the card's payment so the bill is covered. When you pay the card, record a transfer from your bank account to the card.

Brazilian installments ("parcelado")

When you add an expense on a credit card, choose the number of installments. Quadrino puts each installment on the right statement using the card's closing and due days (set them in the account's settings). You can budget each installment in its month or the full amount at once.

Importing a statement (Pro)

Download a CSV, OFX/QFX or CAMT.053 file from your bank's website or app, then open the account in Quadrino and tap Import statement. For CSV files, tell Quadrino which column is which once; it remembers the layout for that account. Transactions already in Quadrino are recognised and not added twice.

The balance doesn't match my bank

Open the account and tap Check balance, or do the weekly check-in. If the bank shows a different amount, enter it and Quadrino records the difference as an adjustment.

Restoring a purchase

Settings → Restore purchases with the Apple Account that bought Pro.

Changing language or currency

Language follows your device: Settings → Apps → Quadrino → Language. Currency is in Quadrino's Settings.
