How is plate cost calculated?

Plated converts each ingredient's purchase price into a cost per unit, applies the quantity and yield in your recipe, rolls up any sub-recipes, and adds an optional waste factor — giving you an accurate cost per portion.

What POS sales files can I import?

Plated reads a standard CSV sales export. It includes presets for common point-of-sale systems and a generic column-mapping option, so you can match the item and quantity columns from any export.

Is my data backed up?

Your data stays on your device and syncs through your own private iCloud if enabled. You can also export PDF cost cards at any time.

What does the one-time purchase include?

Unlimited recipes, menu engineering, what-if repricing, and branded PDF cost cards — for a single payment, with no subscription.

How do I restore my purchase?

Open Settings inside the app and tap "Restore purchase."
