Privacy Policy

The short version: Plated runs entirely on your device. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or store any of your data. Your recipes, ingredients, and prices never leave your device except through your own private iCloud or the files you choose to export.
Information we collect
None. Plated does not have an account system, analytics, advertising, or tracking. We do not operate servers that receive your data.
Your data stays with you
Your recipes, ingredient price book, sales imports, and business profile are stored locally on your device. Any sync uses your own private Apple iCloud account, which we cannot access. PDF cost cards and exports are created on your device and shared only when you choose to share them.
Sales report imports
When you import a sales CSV, it is read on your device to compute your menu analysis. The file's contents are not uploaded anywhere.
Purchases
The one-time unlock is processed by Apple. We never see your payment information. Purchase validation happens on-device through Apple's StoreKit.
Children's privacy
Plated is rated 4+ and does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated date above will change. Continued use means acceptance of the current policy.
