My aircraft isn't covered
Settings lists exactly what the current ruleset covers. If your type isn't there, the app has no directives for it — and it will show an empty list rather than pretend otherwise. Tell us the make, model and serial range you need and it goes on the list; coverage grows with each release.
A directive says "can't determine"
That is working as intended, and it happens for roughly one directive in four. The directive turns on a detail your records don't yet contain — a part number, an installed STC, or the airframe hours on the date the directive took effect.
Open the directive and it will either offer you the field to fill in, or give you the exact question to put to your mechanic. Once you record the answer, it settles every directive that turns on the same detail.
Some directives can never be settled in the app: where the affected serial numbers live in a manufacturer's service bulletin that isn't public, no product can resolve it. Current narrows it to one document and one question, which is the honest limit.
A directive shows as overdue and I know it was done
Record the compliance. Current only knows what you have entered — it starts with no history, so a directive whose deadline has passed reads as overdue until you tell it otherwise. Recording it with the date, hours and who performed it clears it and puts it in the report.
Why is a directive still due after I recorded it?
Directives often require more than one action — an initial inspection, a repeating re-inspection, sometimes a terminating modification. Each is recorded separately, and recording one does not close the others. Open the directive and you will see which action is still outstanding.
Reminders aren't arriving
Reminders need the unlock, notification permission, and a directive with a calendar deadline. Directives measured in flight hours are deliberately excluded: hours advance by flying, not by the calendar, so any date for them would be a guess.
Check Settings → Due-date reminders is on, and that notifications are allowed for Current in the Settings app.
Getting my records off the device
Export the AD Compliance Status Report from the report icon. It is a PDF with every applicable directive, its status, its citation and the ruleset version, and it prints properly. Because nothing is uploaded, that export is the only copy that exists outside the app — take one before deleting the app or changing device.
Restoring a purchase
Settings → Restore purchase, signed in with the Apple Account you bought it with. The unlock is a one-time non-consumable, so it restores on any device on that account.
Something looks wrong in a directive
Tell us which one. Every rule is hand-transcribed from the published text and carries its citation, so a report of a discrepancy is genuinely useful and gets checked against the Federal Register source the same day.
