Privacy Policy

Current collects nothing. There is no account, no server, no tracking and no analytics. Your aircraft and your compliance records stay on your device.
What we collect
Nothing. Current has no servers and no account system. Your aircraft details, the parts and STCs you record, and every compliance entry you make are stored in a file inside the app on your device. They are never transmitted to us or to anyone else.
Tracking & analytics
Current does not track you. It contains no third-party analytics, advertising or attribution SDKs, and collects no usage data or device identifiers. It makes no network requests of its own.
The directive ruleset
The airworthiness directives Current checks against are built into the app itself. Nothing is fetched, and no request tells us which aircraft you own or which directives concern it. A new ruleset arrives only when you update the app from the App Store.
Notifications
If you turn on due-date reminders, Current schedules local notifications on your device. They are generated and delivered entirely on-device; no reminder content leaves your phone. Reminders are recalculated whenever you record a compliance, so nothing fires for work you have already logged.
What leaves the app, and only when you choose it
- Source links. Tapping a directive's source opens that document on govinfo.gov in your browser. That is a request to a US Government website, made by your browser, not by Current.
- Report export. Exporting the AD Compliance Status Report hands the PDF to the iOS share sheet. Where it goes from there is entirely your choice — we never see it.
Purchases
The Current unlock is a one-time in-app purchase processed by Apple. We never see your payment details. Current is told only whether the unlock has been bought; purchase validation is handled by Apple's App Store. Please see Apple's privacy policy for how Apple handles transactions.
Deletion
Deleting the app deletes your records with it. Because nothing is ever uploaded, there is no copy for anyone — including us — to retrieve, export or delete on your behalf. If your records matter to you, export the report before deleting.
Children's privacy
Current is rated 4+ and collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated date above will change. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
