Current

Know which airworthiness directives apply to your tail number.

Enter your aircraft once and Current works out which airworthiness directives in its ruleset apply to your serial number - and shows the conditions it matched, with your own values beside them, so you can check its working. Where your records don't settle a directive, it says so and gives you the question to put to your mechanic, rather than quietly calling it clear. Record compliance as you do the work and export an AD Compliance Status Report with every citation and the ruleset version on every page - the document you carry into an annual.

Features

Everything Current does well.

Applicability, not a list

Matched against your serial, engine, propeller, parts and STCs.

Shows its working

Every directive lists the conditions it matched, with your own values beside them.

Says when it can't tell

About one in four turns on a detail owners don't have. You get the question, never a false pass.

A report for the annual

Every directive, status and citation - printed, with the ruleset version on every page.

The idea

Owners are handed a list of directives for their model and left to work out which ones concern their actual serial number, which parts, which STCs. The hard part was never the list - it was the applicability. So we curated that by hand, and made the app say plainly when it cannot tell.

A look inside

See it in action.

FAQ

Good to know.

Does this decide whether my aircraft is airworthy?

No, and it never will. A certificated mechanic determines airworthiness and the aircraft logbook remains the legal record. Current tracks what your records show and prints it.

Is there a subscription?

No. The directive list, the reasons and the questions are free forever. One payment unlocks recording compliance, the exported report and due-date reminders.

Which aircraft are covered?

Coverage is stated, not implied - the exact list is printed in Settings and on every report. If your type isn't on it, the app says so rather than showing a short list you might mistake for good news.

Where does the directive data come from?

Every rule is transcribed by hand from the published Federal Register text and carries its citation and a link to the source on govinfo.gov. Nothing is parsed automatically, because applicability lives in prose.

Is my data private?

Completely. There is no account and no server. Your aircraft and compliance records stay in the app on your device and are never uploaded.
