Privacy Policy

Glimmer collects nothing about you or your child. There is no account, no advertising, no tracking and no analytics. Everything stays on your phone.

What we collect

Nothing. Glimmer has no account system and makes no network requests of its own. Your child's name, birthday, sticker album and settings are stored only on your device and are never sent to us.

Camera

If you allow it, Glimmer shows your room softly behind the sky using the back camera, so the stars look like they're on your ceiling. The picture is shown live on screen only. Nothing is recorded, saved or sent anywhere. You can turn this off in Glimmer's grown-up settings, or deny camera access in iPhone Settings.

Microphone

If you allow it, Glimmer listens to how loud the room is so it can notice a blow or a clap and make magic happen in the sky. Only the loudness is measured, on the phone, moment by moment. No audio is recorded, saved or sent anywhere. You can turn this off in Glimmer's grown-up settings.

Your recorded messages

If you record your own messages (such as "Goodnight"), they are saved only on your phone and played back inside Glimmer. They are never uploaded. Delete them any time in Glimmer's grown-up settings, or by deleting the app.

Motion

Glimmer reads the phone's motion sensors to keep the sky in place as the phone moves. These readings are used instantly on the phone and never stored or sent.

Tracking & analytics

Glimmer does not track anyone. It contains no third-party analytics, advertising or attribution SDKs and collects no usage data or device identifiers.

Purchases

All Skies is purchased through Apple. We never see payment details; the app is told only whether All Skies is unlocked. Purchases sit behind a grown-ups gate.

Children's privacy

Glimmer is made for children and collects no personal information from anyone, including children. Settings, purchases and links out of the app are behind a parental gate.

Deletion

Deleting the app removes everything Glimmer stored, including any recorded messages and the sticker album.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated date above will change.
